1. On the blog, there's a reference to: "two articles (Cassidy and Reese) on wordless picture books, Ch. 3 in Best Practices." Can anyone tell me the exact title of the book referred to?

2. Does anyone have titles of other good readings on wordless picture books?

Thanks very much.

I put some wordless picture books in my last newsletter with suggestions about how to use them. So far, I don't know if anyone has, but I may have to read one on morning announcements. We have in-house television. I think the kids would enjoy Tuesday, one Tuesday morning.

Dr. Frye,
I used A Day, A Dog this morning with my kinders. They loved the pictures. It sparked some wonderful conversation. We will write a story later today about the wordless picture book. Hey they recognized things in the book that I didn't notice. By the way, not one child was looking around the room. Their eyes were glued to the book. Thanks for sharing the picture books.
